On May 15th we invite you to travel deep into rural Thailand...rice fields, village life and forest monks. The photos are by local amateur photographers who have traveled with Linda Wheatley into the heart of this Buddhist country, either through the Montpelier to Thailand Project or Sweet Mango Tours, her meaningful travel company.
In November 2008, Sweet Mango Tours and Craig Line Photography of Calais are offering a two-week tour also called "A Photographer's Journey to Thailand."
Linda has been traveling to Thailand for over twenty years, including a three year stint in Bangkok as Associate Director for Health Programs for the Peace Corps. Craig Line has traveled to many parts of the world documenting local life through his camera lens.
Please come for an intimate glimpse of Thailand... and to hear more about this unique opportunity to develop your anthropological photographic skills while on an exotic adventure. For more information: www.sweetmangotours.com, www.vttothailand.org, or email linda@sweetmangotours.com.

Members are always welcome to attend our monthly board meetings, and if you have interest and time, we also have openings on the board and volunteer opportunities. If you like to contribute without becoming a member, we welcome targeted contributions to a scholarship fund to subsidize class tuition, or to assist with the costs of darkroom chemistry, for example. Andif you know of someone who might be interested in CPS, please pass this along.
With your help we can continue and expand our ability to bring more and varied photographic programs to Central Vermont. We appreciate your support and look forward to a great year featuring exciting class offerings, speakers and programs.
